A Warning to My Readers
A poem from Wendell Berry:
Do not think me gentle
because I speak in praise
of gentleness, or elegant
because I honor the grace
that keeps this world.
I am a man as crude as any,
gross of speech, intolerant,
stubborn, angry, full
of fits and furies. That I
may have spoken well
at times, is not natrual.
A wonder is what it is.
"Every good and perfect gift is from above" James 1:17
A sobering reminder that everything and anything good in us is the result of God's grace.

Allow Me to Re-Introduce the Christ
A video from P4CM (Passion for Christ Movement). I can't get enough of these. Check them out on youtube if you haven't already. I rejoice in how God has gifted people to creatively write, speak and perform like the people at P4CM. God glorifying truth.

Good Friday & Easter
Garden of Gethsemane.
Ostracized.
Outcast.
Delivered to the cross.
Flogged.
Released prisoner (You and I).
It is Finished.
Died in our place.
Abandoned by the Father.
Yielded up His spirit.
Empty tomb.
Angels announce ‘He has risen’.
Scriptures fulfilled.
Third Day.
End of death's reign.
Raised with Christ!

Run John Run
A poem by John Bunyan (author of Pilgrim's Progress and Grace Abounding to the Chief of Sinners)
"Run, John, run, the law commands
But gives us neither feet nor hands,
Far better news the Gospel brings;
It bids us fly and gives us wings"
